Short CV Alessia Dal Bo’ graduated from University of Genoa on February 2011 with a honours degree in Building and Architecture Engineering (Title of thesis: “The collapse of Santa Maria Paganica Church in L’Aquila : assessment and criteria for reconstruction”). In 2007, she participated at the workshop for the river park project “Cities of Bormide”, regarding the development and reuse of Roccavignale, Cosseria and Cairo Montenotte castles, in partnership with the University of Grenoble and Alcala de Henares. In 2009, she made an internship in Villa Sant’Angelo and Sant’Eusanio Forconese (AQ) working on survey and damage assessment activities with the aim to draft a code of practice for post-earthquake repair and reconstruction. In 2010, she attended the “Course on modelling and analysis of existing masonry structures” coordinated by Prof. Sergio Lagomarsino and, also after graduation, Alessia has maintained her interest for masonry structures damaged by earthquakes, particularly heritage buildings.  Since December 2011, she has been involved in a research collaboration with DICAT supporting activities related to the Reconstruction Plan of Fossa (AQ) and, in April 2012, she awarded a scholarship for doing research on “Evaluation of seismic vulnerability of historical centres in the area of L’Aquila, damaged by the 6 April 2009 earthquake” as part of the Perpetuate European project FP7.

Hobbies I dance since I was five years old and, in my free time, I still attend modern, contemporary and indian dance classes. I’m fascinated by the world of theater in all its forms and I’d like to travel to discover and visit new places.
